Shin Bet chief says 1,000 terrorists killed in Gaza since 2005
Shin Bet chief Yuval Diskin noted Sunday that “in the last two years roughly 1,000 terrorists were killed in IDF and Shin Bet operations in Gaza over the past two years.”
Internal Security Minister Avi Dichter also noted Sunday that “this figure implies that we have eliminated a fifth of the terror operatives active in Gaza, whose number is estimated at roughly 20,000.” ( Roni Sofer)
