Spanning some 120 dunams, the beautiful gardens are not only an attraction for tourist and local visitors, but also an educational center that offers coexistence programs for Jewish and Arab children, as well as activities for disabled children and adults.

"We succeed in providing a platform of coexistence in the center of Jerusalem, and successfully operate a project of coexistence for Arab and Jewish children in the botanical gardens," says Sigal Ofek, deputy director of the University's botanical gardens.
