Ahmadinejad, Mubarak discuss 'regional developments'

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak spoke Tuesday, for the first time in a long time, the Iranian news agency IRNA reported Wednesday.

The two reportedly discussed the "developments in the Palestinian and Lebanese arenas." According to IRNA, the talk symbolizes the slow renewal of diplomatic ties between Iran and Egypt. (Roee Nahmias)
