4,200 balloons released in NY to protest Qassam fire
The Israeli consulate in New York released 4,200 red balloons, equal to the number of Qassam rockets fired at Sdeort since the Gaza disengagement, outside the United Nations headquarters in the city. The display aimed to protest the international community's disregard for Qassam fire at Israel.
The protest was held while the Security Council convened to discuss the situation in Gaza. (Neta Sela)
