Syrian foreign minister: Resistance to occupation is holy
Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Muallem expressed his hope that Israel will realize that using violence in the Gaza Strip could provoke a more violent reaction, Iranian news agency IRNA reported.
Speaking at a press conference with his Dutch counterpart, al-Muallem added that Syria considers Palestinian resistance aimed at liberating occupied territories as "holy." (Dudi Cohen)
