Israeli Gal Gadot to audition for Vin Diesel flick
Local actress and model to travel to Hollywood for private audition with Fast and Furious' star for series' fourth movie
Israeli beauty queen and actress Gal Gadot, the star of local TV show Dolls and a leading model for fashion company Castro, has successfully passed the first additions for the American action movie Fast and Furious 4.
Later this week, Gadot is scheduled to leave for Hollywood to meet the series' star Vin Diesel at Universal Studios. Following the meeting, Diesel will decide whether to cast Gadot for a role in his new movie, which is likely to become a box office hit like its predecessors.
Gadot, 22, was invited to audition for the movie after auditioning for the new James Bond movie several months ago. The international casting agency that held the Bond auditions recommended Gadot to Fast and Furious' producers.
Last week, Gadot was asked to urgently send an on-film audition to Universal Studios. The audition was warmly received by the studios' directors, who promptly sent Gadot and her agent plane tickets to Los Angeles.
Meanwhile, the production company of Dolls has agreed to hold changes in the show's filming schedule in order to allow Gadot to travel to Hollywood.
