Haniyeh: We'll help Egypt reach a lull in region

Hamas' prime minister in the Gaza Strip, Ismail Haniyeh, said Monday that his government would help the Egyptian leadership reach a lull in the Gaza Strip.
Haniyeh thus confirmed the Ynet report on understandings reached between Israel and Hamas on a calm. According to Haniyeh, the truce was reached as a result of the failure of the Israeli operation in Gaza. (Ali Waked)
