John McCain lands in Israel, visits Yad Vashem

Senator John McCain, the Republican presidential front-runner, landed in Israel Tuesday and visited Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial, where he laid a flower wreath and signed the guest book.

McCain is also scheduled to visit President Shimon Peres at his residence in Jerusalem, after which two statesmen plan to deliver a political statement. (Aviram Zino)
