An Israeli Cabinet minister says Israel has been making efforts to bring Syria back to the negotiating table.
Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer says Israel is persisting with years-old efforts to revive talks with Damascus, which broke down eight years ago. He wouldn't say what results these efforts have yielded, if any. Earlier this week, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert hinted at the possibility of secret talks with Syria. (AP)
