Abbas: Arab nations must send troops to Gaza to defend Palestinians
Speaking at the Arab summit in Damascus Saturday, Palestinian President Mahmoud called on the international community, as well as on Arab nations, to send troops into Gaza in order to defend the Palestinians Authority against what he deemed Israeli aggression.
Abbas has urged the international community to send military forces into Gaza in the past, but this is the first time he has called on Arab countries to send their troops into the region. (Roee Nahmias)
