Human Rights Watch slams Israel for land discrimination against Bedouins

The Human Rights Watch group called on Israel Monday to halt the demolition of Bedouin houses immediately and form an independent commission to examine the discrimination against Bedouin citizens in land appropriations.

According to the group's latest report, the Israeli policy "renders tens of thousands of Bedouins in southern Israel to live in tin hut town, unrecognized by the authorities." (Ynet)
