White House says Olmert important for peace process
US President George W. Bush's national security advisor, Stephen Hadley, was asked in a press conference Wednesday about Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's investigation. Hadley said he could not respond to internal investigations, but that Olmert was an important part of the peace negotiations.
He stressed that the negotiations are being held between the Israeli government and the Palestinian Authority and that teams from both sides were running the talks. (Ynet)
