Quartet envoy to the Middle East Tony Blair, who is visiting the West Bank city of Jenin, has told the Sky News network that the peace process between Israel and the Palestinians must be sped up if a peace agreement is to be reached before the end of 2008.

Blair said he believes progress has been made on the Palestinian side, but urged Israel to remove roadblocks to ease Palestinian traffic. (Ynet)
