Report: Iran hangs 4 men convicted of murder

A state-owned newspaper says Iran has hanged four men convicted of murder. The hangings have brought to about 55 the number of people executed in Iran since the beginning of the year.

IRAN newspaper reported Thursday that the four were executed the previous day in Evin prison just north of the capital, Tehran. (AP)
