Hundreds mark 60 years to Nakba

Hundreds of people are participating in the procession marking 60 years to Nakba in the Galilee Thursday. Hadash Chairman MK Mohammad Barakeh, whose family was forced to leave its native village said: “We cannot bequeath the land, but we are obligated to remember.”

The procession was attended by all Arab Knesset members. Shawki Khatib, Higher Arab Monitoring Committee, is scheduled to speak later on. (Sharon Roffe-Ofir)
