Highway 79 blocked due to clashes between police, demonstrators

Highway 79, between Hamovial intersection and the community of Zippori was blocked late Thursday, due to clashes between police officers and demonstrators at the closing of the rally marking 60 years to the Nakba.

The police arrested a few suspects have for hurling stones and attacking police officers. One of the officers was lightly injured in the clashes. (Sharon Roffe-Ofir)
