Peres: Had Arabs accepted Partition Plan Annapolis would be unnecessary

President Shimon Peres spoke Thursday in a reception for Israeli diplomatic officials held at the President’s residence in Jerusalem: “Had Arabs accepted the 1947 UN Partition Plan, there would be no need to for the Annapolis Peace Summit.”

According to Peres, “we could have had a Palestinian state by now, and all of our war casualties would be alive today.” (Neta Sela)
