Poland's foreign minister said Friday the government would not interfere if the US Administration seeks a different country to accept part of a missile defense system. "From what I know, it would be less advantageous, but undoubtedly possible," to place a base elsewhere, Radoslaw Sikorski said.
Warsaw and Washington have been locked in protracted negotiations over a US request to place 10 interceptor missiles in northern Poland as part of protection for Europe and North America against possible attacks from unpredictable nations. (AP)
