Report: Death toll in Lebanon clashes exceeds 100

The al-Jazeera television network reported Monday that more than 100 people have been killed over the past few days in clashes taking place in Lebanon. Some 40 people were killed in the fighting in the Mount Lebanon region alone.
Meanwhile, the exchanges of fire between government and opposition supporters resumed Monday near the al-Masna border crossing with Syria. There have been no reports of casualties so far. (Roee Nahmias)
