Olmert: Israel major importer of women for prostitution

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert attended Monday a meeting of the Knesset's Committee on the Status of Women that focused on prostitution and women trafficking in Israel.

"We are talking about a very complex industry with which it is very difficult to deal because of the huge amounts of money involved. Israel is a major importer of women for prostitution. It's hard to deal with this phenomenon when the demand is high," he said. (Ynet)
