Peres: When Hamas fires rockets, it hurts itself

President Shimon Peres met with US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi who arrived in Israel for the 60th Independence Day celebrations.
During the meeting Peres said, “we left Gaza, we evacuated all Israeli settlements and Hamas is still firing at us. When Hamas fires rockets from Gaza, it fires rockets against the establishment of a Palestinian state and thus hurts itself.” (Ynet)
