Lebanese official sees imminent deal to end crisis

A senior Lebanese opposition official said on Wednesday a deal to end the country's 18-month-long political crisis would be announced imminently.
Ali Hassan Khalil, an MP and a senior aide to Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, told Reuters: "We are very close to the announcement of a deal." He was speaking on the sidelines of Arab-mediated talks in Doha aimed at ending the crisis. (Reuters)
