Some 200,000 people celebrated Lag B'Omer on Thursday evening near the tomb of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai on Mount Meron.
The police are preparing to secure the events expected to continue till Friday afternoon, and expect a total of 400,000 people to take part in the celebrations. (Hagai Einav)
