Yael Naim is coming home

French-born Israeli singer to hold three concerts in Israel this summer

Successful Israeli singer Yael Naim, who resides in Paris, will hold three concerts in Israel this summer.

Naim will perform at Tel Aviv's Zappa Club on July 31 and August 1, and will hold a larger concert in the city's Hayarkon Park on August 2.

The Israeli singer was originally scheduled to perform in the park on July 31 as Bjork's warm-up show, but the Icelandic singer's concert may be cancelled due to poor ticket sales.

Naim will be brought to Israel by Productions Alive, and each ticket is expected to cost NIS 170 (about $50.9).

Naim, 29, was born in France but spent a great deal of her childhood in Israel, and served as a soloist in the Air Force Band. She recorded her second album at her Paris apartment with her musical partner, percussionist David Donatien.

She enjoyed tremendous success after her song "New Soul" was included in an ad for an Apple laptop and reached the seventh place in the Billboard music chart.

Her new album was released in the United States about two months ago, and its distribution in Israel began a month later.
