Olmert, Abbas meeting ends

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's meeting with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas ended a short while ago.

Abbas reportedly expressed his desire to push forwards with the Annapolis process, despite the political situation in Israel. The Palestinians protested the ongoing construction in the settlements; while Olmert protested letters written by the Palestinian PM to the European Union, demanding the EU tempers its relations with Israel due to its settlement policies.
