Official: US, Israel agreed on purchase of warplanes
A member of Ehud Olmert's delegation said that during the prime minister's current visit to Washington "agreements were reached regarding the offensive and defensive means Israel must obtain in light of the reality in the Middle East".
According to the official, during the visit it was agreed that Israel will purchase advanced aircraft and will be connected to a system that warns of incoming missiles.
