Syrian FM welcomes ceasefire between Israel, Hamas

Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Mouallem said Wednesday that his country is supportive of the ceasefire agreement reached between Israel and Hamas.

"We support the agreement and support lifting the blockade off Gaza," he said. As for the indirect peace talks between Israel and Syria, Mouallem said Damascus was gearing up for another round of talks. (AFP)
