Report: Assad having second thoughts on aiding Iran

German news magazine Der Spiegel reported Saturday that North Korea had provided assistance to Iran at a Syrian facility bombed by Israel in September 2007. Syrian President Bashar Assad was reported as having second thoughts about helping Iran with its nuclear program. (AFP)
