Knesset committee to revoke burial fees for families of terrorists

The Knesset’s Social Affairs Committee will advance a bill submitted by Likud faction chairman, Knesser Member Gideon Sa'ar, revoking the transfer of burial fees to the families of terrorists who are Israeli citizens, as the law stipulates.
The bill was first submitted following the terror attack on the Mercaz Harav yeshiva in Jerusalem, executed by an east Jerusalem resident. Sa’ar estimated that the legislation could be completed during the Knesset’s summer session. (Yael Branovsky)
