Crop dusting flights near Gaza to be resumed
None
Defense Minister Ehud Barak ordered Thursday the resumption of all crop dustings over Israeli farmland near the Gaza Strip. The flights were suspended several months ago, due to security concerns.
The decision to renew crop dusting was made after a defense establishment assessment following the recent ceasefire with Gaza militias. The defense establishment further decided to reassess the situation periodically. (Hanan Greenberg)
