Paris summit: Olmert relays message to Assad through Turkey
Prime Minister Ehud Olmert relayed a message to Syrian President Bashar Assad on Sunday through Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan during the Mediterranean Forum in Paris, according to Olmert's spokesman Mark Regev.
According to the spokesman, Olmert told Erdogan that he is "completely serious about making progress in the talks with Syria." Erdogan later met with the Syrian president. (News agencies)
