US House leader: Iran must be made to relinquish nuclear ambitions

House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi said Monday that the world must do more to make Iran relinquish its nuclear ambitions. The international community, she added, must toughen the sanction in order to make the Iranian realize it is perceived a threat no only to Israel, but to the world.

Pelosi spoke at an Hadasa convention in Los Angeles. Knesset Speaker Dalia Itzik, was one of the convention's invitees. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
