Passenger plane crash lands in Nigeria; no casualties reported

Police say a passenger plane overshot an airport runway while landing in Nigeria and crashed nearby.

Police spokeswoman Rita Inoma-Abbey says the Boeing 737 missed the landing strip when arriving Monday afternoon at Port Harcourt International Airport. She gave no further information about the flight or whether there were casualties. (AP)
