Families of fallen first sergeant majors Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev are leaving the Shraga base after being alone with their loved ones. Prime Minister Ehud Olmert entered the tent with Eldad Regev’s casket first, and tears dropped from his eyes upon hugging one of Eldad’s brothers.
Afterwards, Olmert entered the tent containing Ehud Goldwasser’s casket and hugged his widow, Karnit. Ehud’s aunt read a parting letter on the family’s behalf. (Sharon Roffe-Ofir)
