Sarkozy: Ending West Bank occupation will bring economic hope to Palestinians

French President Nicolas Sarkozy said Friday that he was interested in advancing economic projects, claiming they would "give the Palestinians hope for a better life in the West Bank."

Sarkozy said his country would do anything for these projects to be implemented, but added that "Israel must stop the occupation in the territories in order for his initiative to succeed. (AFP)
