Chinese police killed two people during a fight Saturday with rubber farmers in the country's southwest, a government news agency said.
About 400 people fought with police in Menglian County in Yunnan province, the Xinhua News Agency said, in protest against a local rubber company. Police used guns and clubs, killing two people and injuring a third, the report said. It said 13 police officers were injured. (AP)
