Senior IDF officer: Rise in left-wing protests, right-wing activity
“In the past month, 25 police officers and soldiers were injured during riots in the West Bank village of Naalin,” said a senior IDF officer.
According to him, “The first half of 2008 saw a dramatic rise in the amount of Israeli and Palestinian protests and in the amount of extreme right-wing activity surrounding the evacuation of illegal buildings.” (Hanan Greenberg)
