Olmert-Abbas to meet Wednesday in Jerusalem

A senior Palestinian negotiator with the Israelis says Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas will meet

Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert Wednesday at Olmert's Jerusalem residence. It will be the first meeting between the two since Olmert announced he would step down in September under a cloud of corruption charges.

"Tommorow President Abbas will be meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Olmert in his house in Jerusalem," Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat told Palestinian radio Tuesday morning. Olmert's office declined to comment. (AP)
