Peres: Discharged soldiers should head for academic degree

President Shimon Peres said that "we should aspire to have every discharged soldier, girl or boy, graduate with an academic degree."
Speaking at an education convention in Holon, he added that "the IDF is not just a military camp, it's the largest school in Israel. Without the IDF I don't know where we would be today." (Amnon Meranda)
