Russian foreign minister to hold talks in Poland

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov plans to meet with his Polish counterpart as tensions between the two nations are increasing.

Russia and Poland have clashed over Polish plans to host a US missile defense base and over Russia's recent military action in Georgia. Piotr Paszkowski, a spokesman for Foreign Minister Radek Sikorski, said Thursday that he will meet with Lavrov in Warsaw on Sept.11. (AP)
