Body of Israeli found in Italy
Man believed to have died of natural causes a year ago; body found by boys hiking in northern Italy
A group of youngsters hiking in northern Italy found the body of a 33-year-old Israeli who apparently died a year ago, Italian media reported. Foreign Ministry officials in Jerusalem have not yet responded to the report.
According to a short report in Italian newspaper Coreirre della Sera, a group of boys hiking near the northern Italian city of Verona found a skeleton in a sleeping bag inside a tent.
Documents found at the site indicated that the body belonged to a 33-year-old Israeli man. According to the report, a forensic examination showed that the man died of natural causes, possibly due to cold weather conditions.
According to a report on the website of newspaper Il Messaggero , the tent has been at he site for about a year, yet nobody took the initiative to look into it and see whether anyone was staying in the tent.
