Iran calls for halting oil price slide

Iran's oil minister, Gholam Hossein Nozari, is calling for stability in the oil market, saying the biggest challenge now is falling demand for oil due to global economic recession.
Nozari told reporters Saturday that stability in the oil market is important both for producers and consumers. The stunning collapse in oil markets accelerated Friday, sending a barrel of crude plunging below $78. (AP)
