Paul Young coming to Israel
Eighties British pop sensation scheduled to put on three concerts in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Haifa in January 2009
Eighties music fans watch out: English pop singer Paul Young will be making his way to Israel in January.
The 52-year-old star is scheduled to put on three concerts in Tel Aviv, Haifa, and Jerusalem.
Young, who was born in Luton, England, was one of the most popular starts of the 80's playing mainly rock and soul music.
In 1979, Young formed the band the Q-Tips, who failed to gain much success and finally split up in 1982.
One year later, Young released his first solo album that included many big hits such as "Come back and stay" and "Love of the common people".
His second album was released in 1985, and included the chart-topping single "Everytime you go away".
Young is being brought to Israel by Tel Aviv ticket agency Hadran.
