Knesset Member Yitzhak Aharonovitch (Yisrael Beiteinu) referred to the Qassam fire on the Negev and said, "Hamas' outlandish attack on Israeli cities requires a suitable military response, devoid of the defense minister's election concerns."
Forty Qassam rockets and mortar shells were fired into Israel from the Gaza Strip on Wednesday. No injuries or severe damage were reported. (Amnon Meranda)
