No Use for a Name coming to Israel
Popular California-based punk rock band will arrive in country in February for two concerts
One of the most popular punk-rock bands in the world, No Use for a Name, will perform in Israel in February 2009. The California-based band is planned hold two concerts at the Barbie club in Tel Aviv, on February 19 and 20, and tickets will be available starting next month.
The band members have already expressed their desire to come to Israel in September of last year.
Israeli musician and member of Israeli punk rock band Useless I.D. Guy Carmel is behind the band's arrival to the country.
No Use for a Name will visit Israel as part of a European tour following its recent album, titled "Feel Good Record of the Year", which was released in April and received raging reviews in the Punk scene.
Formed in San Jose in 1987, the band has released more than 10 albums, including a "Best of" album last year marking 20 years since its inception.
