An IDF soldier was moderately wounded when a bullet that was apparently accidentally discharged struck his waist at the Tel Hashomer army base in central Israel, Magen David Adom emergency services reported.
The soldier was evacuated to the nearby Sheba Medical Center for treatment. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
