Former President Moshe Katsav was questioned Thursday for over two hours by police in Lod. The interrogation focused on his attorneys' claim that the complainant in the investigation against him is unreliable.
Katsav's attorneys submitted new documents to the police, in which they claim that A of the Tourism Ministry is unreliable.
The former president was questioned regarding his relationship with A and her repeated requests for a position at the Presidential Residence.
In the documents, which include recorded conversations, Katsav's attorneys say A appealed to Katsav and his associates numerous times in an attempt to secure a position in the Presidential Residence.
They claim to have incriminating evidence against the plaintiff, though the latter has insisted she neither contacted the president nor requested such a position.
