Syria begins nuclear efforts

Damascus has begun efforts towards establishing a nuclear power station, Syrian nuclear chief Ibrahim Othman announced Friday.
"Syria will not prohibit visits of the International Atomic Energy Agency, but will not allow visits to its military installations, he told the Arab-language newspaper Asharq Alawsat. (Roee Nahmias)
