Likud party candidate Dan Meridor said at a party conference in Jerusalem on Friday, "Anyone who doesn't want to see Jaffa Gate as an exit gate abroad should vote Likud.
"We are not willing to see Jaffa Gate as a border crossing, but unfortunately it seems there are some people who are." Meridor added that "the Labor Party is shrinking and Kadima is following it, creating a large vacuum that we can fill, if we present a serious team". (Amnon Meranda)
