Israel files complaint with UN over rocket fire
Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Prof. Gabriela Shalev filed a harsh complaint with the UN secretary-General and Security Council president over the significant intensification in the firing of Qassam rockets from the Gaza Strip into Israel.
Shalev made it clear in her letter that Israel views Hamas as solely responsible for the escalation and will not hesitate to take action in a military operation. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
